IPv6 multihoming and traffic engineering

Site-multihoming is essential to ensure the reliability for many sites in the Internet. Due to the explosive growth of the Internet routing tables, current IPv4 multihoming practices could not be longer used in an IPv6 Internet. No IPv6 multihoming solution today provides at the same time sufficient traffic engineering techniques, full fault-tolerance, full route aggregation, provider independency and the preservation of active TCP connections. We focus on the traffic engineering issues related to IPv6 multihomed stubs.
